Missing our Little Friend

I used to babysit a friend of my son's. She was such a warm and fun little girl. We were talking today about how much we miss not seeing her everyday!! Our conversation made me think about a scrapbook I made for her birthday last year. This picture is the cover. It's pink..........of course!! The book was made out of cardstock and held together with ribbon and sticky strip. All products for this project were from Stampin' Up! Looking at this picture.....and seeing the two of them together the other day................reminds me of just how fast time goes by!!

Ok, Ok......so it's not new. *hangs head in shame* But out of all the scrapbook pages I have created for others, this one is one of my Favorites. I love the pink and brown together! I also used a canvas background stamp.....which one of my all time favorite background stamps. Soooooo versital...and adds dimension and depth, a warn look, a nice texture....I just love this stamp!! The white Magic Mesh under the name Shirley was a nice touch that coordinates well with the background. I also like easy to use embellishments that color coordinate with my paper and inks. This is one of my favorite things about the Stampin' Up! line........the inks, the paper, the markers, the embellishments.....all color coordinate!! The stamps I used in this picture are from Stampin' Up!

I am starting to blog my life as a paper crafter and art stamper. Scrapbooking, card making, favors, gifts.....................I love to stamp it all!!
